We are a nonprofit organization and have more than 450 employees. Inpatient Rehabilitation Services Program
- 8 private rooms
- Providing comprehensive physical rehabilitation to the Keokuk community and surrounding area
- Providing a minimum of 3 hours of therapy a day
- Services provided are: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, rehab nursing, a physician that specializes in rehab medicine, dietary services, social work, therapeutic recreation and other as needed
- The unit is for people with catastrophic injuries or diseases such as stroke, multiple fractures, arthritis, amputations, brain or spinal cord injuries, fractured upper leg, neurological disorders or burn victims
- The goal of the program is to enable a person to live at their highest degree of social and physical independence and to prevent debilitating conditions.
- A comprehensive goal oriented interdisciplinary team approach is used to design and implement rehabilitation programs that are tailored for the individual patients needs. The patient and family's involvement are considered crucial to the program's success.
